Session Types

NAMSS offers multiple session types to match your learning style and comfort level.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Pre-Conference workshops provide in-depth training or skill building learning. Through in-person instruction, attendees spend the full day gaining skills, working through case studies, and participating in group discussions. These sessions require separate registration and take place prior to the start of #NAMSS24.

Keynote Sessions

Keynote sessions are dedicated sessions where all attendees come together for one presentation. Our opening keynote speaker, Diana Kander, will help you stay innovative and curious within as you tackle new challenges as an MSP. New for 2024, our closing keynote presentation will feature a panel of distinguished NAMSS members to provide their insight into the future of the profession. You won’t want to miss the closing keynote presentation, NAMSS will be raffling off a 2025 Conference Package that you must be present to win!

Concurrent Education Sessions

The NAMSS concurrent sessions will include lecture presentations, panel discussions, and roundtable conversations. These sessions offer opportunities to ask questions. In addition, each session will provide 'Tell Your Boss’ Takeaways, which will be a document with top insights from their presentations, so your whole team can benefit from your attendance.

NEW! Interactive Concurrent Sessions

New this year, NAMSS is creating more ways for you to engage with your peers and expert presenters. Select concurrent sessions will feature new formats to heighten engagement, increase networking opportunities, and foster a collaborative experience for those willing to dive in headfirst with us. Session formats could include game show formats, debates, and in-depth scenario conversations.

NEW! Conference Club Discussion Sessions

You asked, and we listened. Based on past attendee feedback, we are adding more time to network with your peers and debrief after a day of learning. Monday and Tuesday’s schedule will feature “book club” style sessions to discuss hot topics and presentations that took place that day. Join these sessions to breakdown what you learned and make connections with your peers.
